NEW: Call for Evidence

The Council has kicked off work on National Infrastructure Assessment Report 2 (NIA Report 2), aiming to provide a more in-depth assessment of housing-enabling infrastructure.

To support this work, the Council has launched a new public Call for Evidence, open until June 15, 2026, for the purpose of surfacing and sharing solutions and best practices that can be adopted or scaled across Canada.

The Canadian Infrastructure Council is an arms-length, expert advisory body appointed by the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities to provide impartial, evidence-based research and analysis to all levels of government and infrastructure owners, operators and investors to improve public infrastructure planning and decision-making in Canada.
